Indian Council of Small Industries (ICSI) organised a seminar on 'Relevance of Ancillarisation in the context of Globalisation and Emerging Trade Relations' with the involvement of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal initiative for multi-sectoral, technical and economic co-operation) countries which, inter alia, includes Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand and India on 28-29 November 2005 at International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi.

Welcoming the distinguished guests to the seminar, Shri P. Kumar, President, ICSI gave an overview of the Seminar.

Papers Presented

Country Reports were presented by the country representatives of Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, India followed by Technical Papers presented by Large Industries on Ancillarisation.

Event Round up

Over 50 Participants attended the seminar "Relevance of Ancillarisation in the context of Globalisation and Emerging Trade Relations" on 28-29 November,
2005 at IMI, New Delhi. Shri K K Sarkar, gave the vote of thanks.

An Exhibition was also held to showcase some SME industries.
