Highlights

Indian Council of Small Industries (ICSI) organised a seminar on 'Capability of VSI Sector in aiding to the growth of GDP' on 17^th December, 2004
during 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at IIPA, New Delhi.

Welcoming the distinguished guests to the seminar, Shri P. Kumar, President, ICSI gave an overview of the VSI Sector and said that the theme of the seminar was essentially topical.

Chief Guest Shri S. P. Gupta, Former Member, Planning Commission delivered the keynote address.

Over 25 Participants attended the seminar "Capability of VSI Sector in Aiding to the Growth of GDP" held on 17^th December, IIPA New Delhi.

A galaxy of eminent speakers like Dr. Sambhu Prasad Srivastava, President and Organiser, Lok Awaz, Dr. S. P. Gupta, Former Member, Planning Commission, Dr. (Prof) R. K. Pandey, an SSI activist and Working Vice President, and many other participants contributed with their views.

Late S.S. Singhania was the founder of Indian Council of Small Industries (ICSI). He was also closely associated with the Federation of Small Industries of India (FASII).
